Beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday, May 21, Fenimore Road will be closed in both directions between Brewster Road and Tompkins Road, until all necessary subsurface work and roadway repairs are completed later in the day. There is no set timeline for the reopening of the road.
Officials said that there will be detours posted and parking restrictions will be in effect in the area during the scope of the project. The closure is “necessary to facilitate repair of a water main that was damaged by a utility crew undertaking unrelated subsurface work.”
